Heading Home unbeaten on the road

Arriving last night to our hotel in St. Louis we were greeting by the numerous fans leaving the St. Louis Cardinals playoff game which was across the street.  When I say greeted, I mean they stumbled upon us as we entered the hotel and the sea of red shirts in the hotel lobby bars told me they must have won the game (they did 1-0) as they atmosphere seemed very jovial.

The guys got a sleep in this morning after our travelling yesterday.  Our pregame brunch at 10.30am at the hotel was follwed by our usual pregame talk and line up and then it was back to the hotel room to start preparing mentally for the game at 2.30pm.

Full game thoughts will follow tomorrow when I finally get back to DC and out of another airport.  By the way we tied 1-1 another solid performance and deservedly got a point some could say we dropped points but St. Louis away from home ill take the tie
