Sept 25 finally back

It's been a hectic couple of days with Monday being an off day and meetings most of the day Tuesday for me it wasn't until yesterday that I got back on the field so it's been a couple of days rest from the blog but watching the last 2 days on the field have been good.  With a win last night against Mason, our opponent on Saturday UMBC stays undefeated with perfect 7-0 record and ranked NAtionally #11 by the NSCAA and #8 by top drawer soccer.   Having lost to UMBC last season we are familiar with how they play but stopping them from doing it will be a tough ask.  Obviously their confidence is soaring high where as we are looking to bounce back and get back to winning ways.

After getting ready to get fully into Todays session I thought it would never happen as getting stuck in traffic for an hour for the last 2 miles of my trip and knowing the guys would be in the same traffic due to major traffic problems coming into the Georgetown i wasn't sure if we would be able to practice.  luckily with no lifting session today we had some time to play with and after the guys had finally arrived in dribs and drabs we were able to get going and get a good session in planning for the weekend.  We have another session tomorrow for some final preparation and then its waiting for Saturday night.  The weather has been a little cooler this week and its finally feeling like Fall although not sure if the heat has totally gone.

With the annual University alumni weekend falling this weekend it will be a busy time on campus and with our Mens Soccer Alum event next Saturday its added to the planning and meetings this week so I'll be happy when this week is over.

Raise High Moment of the Day
Finally starting practice after huge delays
